Joining Capital District DSA
All dues-paying members in good standing of the Democratic Socialists of America national organization who live within the Greater Capital District (including all of Albany, Rensselaer, Schenectady, Fulton, Montgomery, Saratoga, Warren, Washington, Greene, and Columbia Counties) are considered to be full members of the Capital District chapter.

If you’d like to become a member, please join through the National DSA Membership Page. You can become a DSA member paying minimum annual dues or by becoming a monthly sustainer. As a DSA chapter, we receive 20% of our members’ dues to national which supports our organizing work so we encourage you become a monthly sustainer. If you’d like to become a DSA member but cannot afford any of the membership options, please contact us at to discuss what we can do for you.

Donate to CD DSA
You can also give small dollar, monthly donations directly to the chapter on top of joining DSA. We’re a thrifty chapter but more financial resources will go a long way towards bottomlining our work across the Capital District.
